Bahrain’s Parliament Speaker Praises Kingdom’s Humanitarian Role

Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, has praised the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, saying that the King’s vision has turned humanitarian work into a cornerstone of Bahrain’s development.
He noted that the royal approach has made humanitarian action a noble Bahraini message and a civilizational value that strengthens global solidarity, promotes partnerships, and contributes to peace and stability around the world.
Al-Musallam also highlighted the role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, whose support has helped showcase Bahrain’s contributions in providing humanitarian and relief aid to countries affected by conflicts and disasters.
The Speaker commended the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for its wide-ranging initiatives that support orphans, widows, and families in need. He emphasized the Foundation’s regional and international efforts, including healthcare, education, and urgent relief for those impacted by wars, with particular attention to the Palestinian people.
“Bahrain has a proud legacy of humanitarian and charitable work,” Al-Musallam said, adding that the Kingdom has become a model in strengthening ties with other nations while putting human welfare at the center of its priorities.
He also underlined the role of parliamentary diplomacy in promoting Bahrain’s humanitarian values across regional and international platforms, reflecting the country’s deep-rooted culture of compassion and solidarity.
Al-Musallam expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Committee for Human Rights, which continue to strengthen Bahrain’s standing as an active global partner in advancing solidarity, coexistence, tolerance, and respect for human dignity.
