Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received Reham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil, Ambassador of Egypt to Bahrain.
Al Musallam expressed his appreciation for the strong Bahrain-Egypt relations, noting their continued development across various areas and the existing bilateral cooperation. He also stressed Parliament’s keenness to strengthen ties with Egypt’s House of Representatives and Senate and exchange expertise.
The Egyptian ambassador expressed appreciation for the close relations between the two countries and affirmed Egypt’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Bahrain across various fields. She also praised the Bahrain Parliament’s role in supporting Arab issues.
