ICRF Bahrain organises refreshment drive in Riffa

The Indian Community Welfare Association – ICRF Bahrain continues its annual summer awareness program – Thirst Quenchers 2025.
Aligning with the Ministry of Labour’s initiative to ensure a safe working environment during the sweltering three months, ICRF Bahrain distributed water, juice, laban, orange, apple, banana, laddu, biscuits and cake at a site located in Riffa on Saturday, 16 August 2025.
This year, the event is supported by the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Labour, Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and IOM.
Around 120 workers took part in the event.
Hasan Al Aradi, Head of Occupational Safety & Health Inspection at the Ministry of Labour, joined the distribution and spoke about the support extended to the workers by the Ministry.

ICRF Vice Chairmen Pankaj Nallur and Prakash Mohan, General Secretary Aneesh Sreedharan, Joint Secretary Javad Pasha, Thirst Quenchers Coordinators Faizal and Sivakumar, Rakesh Sharma, Muralikrishnan, Chemban Jalal, Clifford Correa, Kalpana Patil, Sandra Palanna, Althea D’Souza, Ruchi Chakraborthy, Papia Guha, Raji Murali, Rayna Correa, Swapna, Hemalatha Singh, HSE Officer Rajesh Sadanand and Rajendran along with enthusiastic volunteers and students have joined the distribution.
ICRF Women’s Forum supported today’s event.
