Southern Governor Vows to Improve Services for Residents

Southern Governor His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa affirmed the governorate’s continued efforts to develop services and meet residents' needs while strengthening direct communication and cooperation with the community.

During a meeting at the Southern Governorate Council, HH Shaikh Khalifa received Southern Municipal Council Chairman Abdullah Ibrahim Abdul Latif, Southern Municipality Director General Engineer Isa Abdulrahman Al Sisi Al Buainain, along with dignitaries, residents and representatives of civil society organisations.

He said the governorate’s approach aligns with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and is supported by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to further enhance comprehensive development services.

HH Sheikh Khalifa said the Southern Governorate continues to organise direct meetings and field visits to identify residents’ needs and aspirations across different areas.

He added that the governorate is following up on plans to develop key development, service and social projects in coordination with relevant authorities. The aim is to improve the quality and level of services provided across the Southern Governorate.
