Gulf Air Suspends Flights to Multiple Destinations Amid Regional Tensions

Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, has announced the temporary suspension of several scheduled flights due to ongoing regional developments.

Flights to and from Amman, Jordan have been cancelled until June 16, 2025, while services to Baghdad and Najaf in Iraq are suspended until June 20, 2025. Additionally, flights to Baku, Azerbaijan will be on hold until June 21, 2025.

The airline stated that the decision was made with passenger and crew safety as a top priority and that it will continue to closely monitor the situation.

While Gulf Air regrets any inconvenience caused by these cancellations, it has reassured affected passengers that it is working closely with partners and relevant authorities to provide support. This includes arranging accommodation and alternative travel options to help passengers reach their original or final destinations.

Travelers are encouraged to stay updated on flight schedules by downloading the Gulf Air mobile app or visiting the official website at gulfair.com.
