During its regular session here yesterday, SCIA extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Royal Family and the Bahraini people on the upcoming National Day, Accession Day and Martyrs’ Day. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of SCIA President Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, in the presence of Deputy President Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa. The council also expressed delight following the success of the medical check-ups HRH the Prime Minister had undergone recently. They praised the crucial national role played by Prince Khalifa, being a distinguished leader, who led the government’s action with a far-sighted vision, resolve and dedication.

In another context, the panel expressed Bahrain’s pride in serving the Holy Quran, lauding HM the King’s support to Holy Quran-related activities.

It also praised Bahraini youth’s winning of the first place in the single and teams’ categories in the 27th GCC Quran and Hadith Competition, which was held recently in Qatar.
