Kingdom supports extension of UN mission in Yemen

His Excellency Jamal Faris Al Rowaiei, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, participated in the Security Council voting session held under the agenda item Middle East – Yemen, during which Bahrain voted in favour of Resolution 2813, submitted by the United Kingdom.
The resolution aims to restructure the operations of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA) and to integrate its core related tasks with the Office of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Yemen.
