South Korea recorded 147 new coronavirus cases, but fears of a new outbreak due to small gatherings and expatriates continued.
The new cases brought the total number of cases in South Korea to 8,799. The total number of deaths from the virus was 102. The country has witnessed a downward pathway in registering new cases since its peak, with 909 cases recorded on February 29.
