Tributes Pour In for Hayden Panettiere as Coroner Finds No Signs of Trauma

Los Angeles: Hayden Panettiere, an American actress best known for her appearances in Heroes and Nashville, died at the age of 36, eliciting a flood of tributes from co-stars, friends, and fans. Panettiere was found unresponsive at a residence in Greenville, South Carolina, on August 16 and declared dead after rescue workers detected her in cardiac arrest.

A post-mortem examination performed by the Greenville County Coroner's Office revealed no signs of trauma that contributed to her death. However, officials noted the exact cause and manner of death are unknown pending further inquiry and testing.

Colleagues and friends have subsequently paid tribute to Panettiere, including performers Viola Davis, Melissa Barrera, Bethany Joy Lenz, and others, who remembered her skill and impact on the screen. She soared to international recognition as Claire Bennet in Heroes and then received two Golden Globe nominations for her role as Juliette Barnes in Nashville.
