Saudi Arabia Urges Accountability After Attack on Kuwaiti Consulate

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the intrusion and vandalism targeting Kuwait’s Consulate General in Basra, describing the incident as a blatant violation of diplomatic norms and international conventions.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the attacks on the sanctity of the diplomatic mission, stressing the need to respect and protect diplomatic premises under international law.
The Kingdom reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and called on authorities to hold those responsible accountable while taking steps to prevent similar incidents in the future.
