Bahrain Reaffirms Solidarity with Kuwait Following Consulate Attack

Manama:Bahrain has strongly condemned the storming and vandalism of Kuwait’s Consulate General in Basra, calling it a serious breach of diplomatic norms and international law.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the incident as a blatant violation of the sanctity of the consular mission and a breach of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, which guarantees the protection of diplomatic premises and personnel.
The Kingdom reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait, supporting all measures to safeguard its missions and interests, while urging immediate action to hold those responsible accountable and prevent any recurrence.
Bahrain also stressed that protecting diplomatic facilities and upholding international law are vital for maintaining regional security and stability.
