Key Talks Held Ahead of Pakistan–China Strategic Dialogue
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, during his visit to China.
During the meeting, Dar congratulated Minister Liu on the successful holding of the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the steady progress of bilateral relations and discussed party-to-party exchanges, regional developments, and ongoing cooperation projects, including those under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The two leaders also agreed to jointly mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China in a meaningful manner.
Dar is in China to co-chair the 7th Pakistan–China Strategic Dialogue, aimed at further strengthening ties between the two countries.
