Annual Day Celebrations of BIS: A Night of Culture and Excellence

Bahrain Indian School (BIS) showcased its educational vision through its Annual Day, “SAMRAJYA,” presented on Day 2 for the senior classes, a grand confluence of culture, artistic expression, and social awareness that underscored the school’s commitment to shaping globally minded learners.
The 12th Annual Day Celebration on 11th December 2025 at the Bahrain Cultural Hall, marked a significant occasion for the school community and its senior students.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mrs Ahlam Eid Saqer, Chief, Private Educational Institutions Development & Follow-Up, Directorate of Licensing and Follow-up of Private Schools, Ministry of Education who served as the chief guest. BIS Directors Mr. Himanshu Verma & Mrs. Ritu Verma also graced the occasion and received the Chief Guest.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome from the Principal Mr. Saji Jacob who expressed gratitude to all attendees and highlighted the importance of cultural events in fostering unity and creativity within the school.
The audience was then treated to a beautiful welcome song performed by the students, setting the tone for a night filled with artistic expression.
The cultural program featured a range of performances, including classical songs, vibrant dance routines, and an engaging skit based on the theme “Samrajaya” unfolded.
Each act showcased the immense talent and hard work of the students, leaving the audience captivated and inspired.
The audience was then enthralled by a compelling dance drama on Kannagi, portraying strength, justice, and moral integrity drawn from classical Indian literature.
The evening was further dazzled with a dynamic Fashion Show, showcasing creativity, confidence, and cultural diversity.
