Al Noor International School is delighted to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of Grade 3 students of the CBSE Section, Hridik Shetty and Gauri Pillai at the His Highness Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Chess Championship 2025. This prestigious tournament, organised by the Ministry of Education, took place on 24 and 25 November 2025 at the Shaikh Khalifa Stadium, Isa Town.
Competing in the Under 06–08 (Boys & Girls) Sub-Junior category, both students displayed outstanding strategic skills, confidence, and perseverance.
Hridik Shetty achieved an exceptional milestone by winning all his matches, earning the GOLD MEDAL—a testament to his impressive focus and mastery of the game. Gauri Pillai also delivered a strong performance and won the BRONZE MEDAL, further enhancing the school’s presence at this national competition.
