Nothing unveils first over-ear headphones, Headphone (1)

London-based tech firm Nothing has launched its first over-ear headphones, the Headphone (1), in collaboration with British audio brand KEF. Known for its transparent design, the $299 headset offers adaptive noise cancelling, spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, and tactile controls— including a volume roller and button support for ChatGPT via the Nothing X app.
While slightly bulky and heavy during movement, the headphones deliver strong comfort for extended wear. Battery life is rated at up to 80 hours (35 with noise cancelling). Preorders open July 4, 2025, in the U.S., U.K., and other markets.
