Paralympic weightlifting delegation leaves for AsiaOceania Championship

Bahrain’s Paralympic weightlifting mission left yesterday for the 2022 Asian-Oceania Paralympic Open weightlifting tournament in South Korea. The tournament is scheduled to be held from June 14 to 20, and the team delegation is led by Nader Al Sheikh, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Federation of Sports with Disabilities.
The team also includes coaches Iman Hassan and Hassan Al Darazi, Amal Verdun and player Ahmed Khayat.
Iman Hassan, technical director of the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, stressed the importance of these participations in representing the Kingdom of Bahrain, as these tournaments are considered to be qualifiers for the 2024 Paralympic Games and the World Championships.
