HH Shaikh Khalid receives lawyer Aisha Mutawia

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, received lawyer Aisha Mutaiwea on the occasion of her appointment as an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport “CAS”.

The meeting was attended by HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority, and HE Dr Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority.

HH Shaikh Khalid said: “We are pleased with the appointment of lawyer Aisha Mutawia as arbitrator in the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

The appointment of a Bahraini lawyer in this international body is a source of pride in the national cadres, and the successes they achieve,” For her part, Mutawia expressed her sincere thanks and great gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid, stressing that her selection as an arbitrator in the CAS is clear evidence of the confidence of this international legal body in what the Kingdom of Bahrain possesses of cadres capable of contributing to its cause.

She added that the Bahraini cadres are distinguished by their sincerity and dedication to reach the highest levels.
