Al Nasr crowned champions in Al Ain

Bahrain's Al Nasr were crowned champions of the inaugural Al Ain International Youth Volleyball Championship after completing a perfect campaign in the UAE.
The kingdom's youngsters won all five of their matches at Khalifa bin Zayed Sports Hall, dropping just one set on their way to the title.
Al Nasr opened with successive 3-0 victories over Qatar's Al Arabi and Al Rayyan before sweeping Kuwait's Burgan by the same score.
They followed with a 3-1 win over hosts Al Ain before completing their unbeaten run with a 3-0 victory against Kuwait's Al Qadsia.
There was further individual recognition for the Bahraini side, with Ammar Yousif named the tournament's Best Blocker and Abbas Matrook receiving the Best Setter award.
Al Rayyan finished runners-up, while Al Arabi took third place in the six-team tournament, which ran from August 30 to September 4.
Al Nasr were presented with the trophy and gold medals by Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club CEO Juma Mater Khalifah Al Nuaimi, UAE Volleyball Association secretary-general Awad Al Mansouri and tournament director Ahmed Subait Al Nuaimi.
