Muharraq dismiss Al Saadoun

Muharraq have parted ways with head coach Isa Al Saadoun just two matches into the new Nasser bin Hamad Premier League season following a slow start to their title defence.
The Bahraini coach returned in July, succeeding Portuguese Nandinho after the Red Wolves won both the league and King's Cup last season.
However, the holders opened with a 1-1 draw against Al Ahli before suffering a shock defeat to newly promoted Al Ettifaq last weekend, leaving them with one point from two matches.
The club are now searching for a replacement ahead of Thursday's league meeting with Manama at 7pm, with an AFC Champions League Two campaign also on the horizon.
They have been drawn in Group B alongside the UAE's Al Jazira, Iran's Gol Gohar Sirjan and Turkmenistan's FK Arkadag.
Al Saadoun previously enjoyed major success at the club, most notably leading the Bahraini giants to the 2021 AFC Cup title.
