Bahrain parataekwondo team heads to Malaysia for Asian Championship

Bahrain’s national para taekwondo team is en route to Malaysia to compete in the 2025 Asian Para Taekwondo Championship, set to take place in Kuching from July 31 to August 1. The four-star event, recognized by World Taekwondo, will feature over 150 athletes from across Asia.
Ten athletes will represent Bahrain across both Kyorugi (combat) and Poomsae (forms) categories under the supervision of coaches Tawfiq Nouaisar and Fajr Al-Binali, the latter of whom will join the delegation after attending meetings of the Asian Taekwondo Union’s executive board and general assembly.
Ibrahim Radwan will compete in the combat division, while Ruba Al-Omari, Nassar Al-Marisi, Zeina Al-Balushi, Hajar Al-Jowder, Rawaan AlSaad, Noora Zainal, and Yasmeen Fikri will participate in the Poomsae events.
The delegation is led by Hayat Al-Sayyad and includes three officials and a team doctor, reflecting Bahrain’s commitment to a professional and honorable international representation.
The team aims to build on its recent international successes and highlight the rapid development of para taekwondo in the Kingdom.
