Knowledge is Power !

Praising the creation of Bahrain Polytechnic (BP), Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi stressed the importance of technical and vocational education in serving the national economy. Speaking during the second graduation ceremony at BP here yesterday, the Minister lauded BP’s contribution into the labour market of efficient skillful alumni and boosting the research product in the Kingdom. He noted the goals for the sake of which it has been established as part of the Kingdom’s educational system.

Deputy Premier and President of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training, Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa patronised the graduation ceremony. The ceremony was hosted at Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Hall in the University of Bahrain (UoB), in the presence of Ministers, MPs and senior officials in the Kingdom.

In a statement, Shaikh Mohammed appreciated the efforts of the Chairman and members of Board of Trustees, administrative, academic and executive staff of BP. On the occasion, the Education Minister thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for his patronage of the graduation ceremony. Al Nuaimi also enumerated the BP accomplishments since 2012.

“The BP has catapulted the Kingdom’s name at international functions and contests,” the Minister said, and urged the parents to encourage their offspring to join applied educational institutions in view of its importance in tomorrow’s world.
