Closing ceremony of judicial session held

Defence Ministry's Undersecretary Major-General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa patronised yesterday the closing ceremony of the 5th judicial session in public prosecution, organised by the military judiciary at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), with the participation of a number of officers from the Armed Forces of Saudi Arabia.

After Holy Quran verses were recited, the Defence Ministry Undersecretary gave a speech in which he expressed thanks to the military judiciary for organising the judicial session and highlighted the directives of the BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa to serve the affiliates of GCC armed forces.

He congratulated all the participating officers from Saudi Arabia on their honourable performance and wished them further success.

Director of Military Judiciary Brigadier-General Dr. Yusuf Rashid Flaifel gave a speech, in which he affirmed that the session’s programme was supervised and implemented by officers and advisors at the military judiciary and it included practical and theoretical training at public prosecution and field visits to a number of legal and judicial authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He praised the efforts exerted by the participants from Saudi Arabia.

Acting Director of the General Command’s Court Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, BDF Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources Major General Shaikh Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Military Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Bahrain Brigadier-General Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Tamimi and a number of BDF senior officers attended the ceremony.

Military judiciary at the Kingdom of Bahrain, organised a number of sessions for GCC armed forces' affiliates within the judicial and legal framework, since the beginning of the reform era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.

The session provided participants with practical and theoretical skills in the judicial field. It was one of the first judicial bodies that communicated with the law colleges in the Kingdom of Bahrain and conducted practical training, which was commended by deans of law colleges in the Kingdom's universities.
