Editors-in-Chief of local newspapers praised the national anti-pandemic efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, particularly the contributions of health workers.

This came as they paid a visit yesterday to the Operations Room of the National Medical Taskforce to Combat Coronavirus (COVID-19) at the Crown Prince Centre for Training and Medical Research, where they were informed about its work mechanisms, various sections, as well as strategies and plans to deal with the pandemic.

They expressed pride in the high preparedness of the national cadres at the Centre to deal with COVID-19, which contributed to protecting the safety and health of the citizens and residents and earned Bahrain international acclaim.

Al-Ayam’s Editor-in-Chief Isa Al Shayji said Bahrain has set the example to be emulated in dealing with the pandemic, noting the distinguished performance of the national competencies has contributed to protecting public health and the economy.
