Homegrown Businesses Get Dragon City Spotlight

Zeyad Adel Darwish, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, inaugurated the “Bahraini Hands” exhibition at Dragon City, highlighting efforts to support productive Bahraini families and expand market opportunities for their products.

The exhibition is organised by the Ministry of Social Development in cooperation with the Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Society and Dragon City.

Darwish said the ministry is continuing to develop programmes and initiatives aimed at helping productive Bahraini families grow their businesses and turn their projects into sustainable economic opportunities.

He stressed the importance of providing diverse marketing channels to help family businesses expand their customer base, strengthen their competitiveness and maintain their presence in the local market.

Darwish also highlighted the ministry’s efforts to strengthen partnerships with public and private entities and civil society institutions to create additional opportunities for productive families to develop their businesses and promote their products.

The exhibition reflects cooperation between the public and private sectors and civil society institutions, bringing together efforts to provide productive families with a dedicated platform to showcase their products and connect with consumers.

The “Bahraini Hands” exhibition runs till 25th September at Dragon City, Gate 12. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Ministry of Social Development encouraged the public to visit the exhibition and support productive Bahraini families and their locally made products.
