Bahrain and EU Discuss Stronger Cooperation and Regional Stability
Dr. Yousef Abdulkarim Bucheeri, Director-General of Legal and Human Rights Affairs at Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met Reinhold Lopatka, Member of the European Parliament and Chair of its Delegation for Relations with the Arab Peninsula, during the delegation’s visit to Bahrain.
The discussions focused on Bahrain-European Union relations, with both sides exploring opportunities to expand cooperation and coordination in areas of mutual interest.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments, as well as ongoing efforts to support security and stability.
The meeting further considered ways to strengthen consultations and diplomatic coordination to promote greater understanding, cooperation and stability at the regional and international levels.
The meeting was also attended by Shaikha Al Anoud bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Acting Chief of the European Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and MP Hassan Ibrahim Hassan, Member of the Council of Representatives.
