Bahrain Joins Saudi Arabia in Celebrating National Day at Asian Games
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Head of Bahrain’s delegation at the 20th Asian Games – Aichi-Nagoya 2026, attended a Saudi National Day reception hosted by the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee delegation.
The gathering brought together senior sports officials, including Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia and Qatar Olympic Committee, and Prince Fahd bin Jalawi Al Saud, Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
Shaikh Isa bin Ali conveyed his congratulations to Saudi Arabia’s leadership, government and people, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
He said Bahrain was pleased to take part in the celebrations, recognising Saudi Arabia’s development and achievements across different fields.
He also highlighted the longstanding bonds between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, noting that the relationship extends to several areas, including sports.
