Bahrain delivers 30,000 units and services in 5 years: Housing Ministry

A total of 30,000 housing units and services benefited eligible citizens over the past five years.

“The drive follows the royal order issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to construct 40,000 units for citizens”, said the Ministry of Housing.

The ministry is currently distributing 5000 housing units to eligible recipients following an order issued by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.  

These include ownership apartments, units and residential plots in each of East Hidd Town, the Buhair Project, Salman Town and other separate areas across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The ministry has finished over the past years the construction of Salman Town, East Hidd Town, Ramli residential project, while work on East Sitra Town is currently on track.

The ministry has also completed work on 40 other residential blocks across the Kingdom of Bahrain, which contributed to meeting the needs of thousands of Bahraini families.
