Close to 15,000 use MoW’s e-services
A total of 3995 people have used Ministry of Work’s e-services in the third quarter of 2015, anounced Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Information Technology Director Hisham Sater.
This takes the total number of users till September to 14,515.
The 10 services offered by MoW include contractor pre-qualification, materials testing results, traffic diversion request and building maintenance request, among others. These services can be accessed through www.works.gov.bh and www.bahrain.bh.
According to Mr Sater, the Ministry has recently upgraded the electronic services on its portal. With 1,516 users, August attracted the largest traffic followed by July with 1265 users. Most number of users was for materials testing results service, followed by road fault report service and the material/product assessment service.
