Bahrain congratulated over achievements in edu sector
Education Minister, Higher Education Council (HEC) President Dr Majid Al Nuaimi led Bahrain’s delegation to the 19th meeting of the GCC Higher Education and Scientific Research Minsters’ Committee in Muscat, Oman.
Oman’s Minister of Higher Education Rawiya bint Saud Al Busaidia addressed the opening ceremony, welcoming ministers and members of the accompanying delegations. She stressed the importance of the meeting in consolidating the GCC cooperation in the field of higher education and human research.
Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani also addressed the session, thanking the Sultanate of Oman for hosting the meeting of the GCC Higher Education and Scientific Research Minsters’ Committee. He also congratulated the Kingdom of Bahrain on the centenary of the inception of the formal education.
