Need to promote young entrepreneurs’ role stressed

Under the patronage of Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Southern Governorate organised the second Investment Development Forum 2019 under the slogan “Select South”. The event, held at the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea and Spa hotel, was attended by senior officials, investors from major companies and young Bahraini entrepreneurs.

The forum is part of the exceptional initiatives in the investment development field to encourage young Bahraini entrepreneurs and change the sustainable development goals (SDGs) into opportunities for investors from across the governorate. The Southern Governor stressed the importance of the forum in promoting the role of young entrepreneurs and major investment companies as well as highlighting pioneering projects.

He pointed out the governorate’s keenness on encouraging projects of young entrepreneurs as well as major investment companies. He noted that the Southern Governorate possesses the requirements of building a modern society, pointing out Khalifa City, which was established to achieve SDGs and become a comprehensive exemplary city according to the latest development criteria.
