BDF efforts stressed

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, yesterday visited the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF)’s General Command. Upon arrival, HM the King was welcomed by BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and Minister of Defence Affairs, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al Nuaimi. HM King Hamad was accompanied by Royal Guard Commander, Major-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander, Lieutenant-Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

 HM the King held a meeting with senior officers, and lauded the success of the previous training season, stressing the need to intensify preparations for the next season in order to enhance the BDF affiliates’ competence. 

HM King Hamad expressed pride in the BDF and its brave servicemen, noting that they are a source of inspiration for everyone in Bahrain.  HM the King extended thanks to everyone in the BDF for the tireless efforts they exert to protect the gains and achievements of the Kingdom and its people, hailing their constant readiness to face any challenges that would put regional security at risk.

HM King Hamad wished all the BDF servicemen, in Bahrain and abroad every success in assuming their duties in Bahrain and abroad.
