Health programmes: Minister urges to hold more field trips
Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh yesterday urged holding more field trips to assess public feedback on programmes implemented throughout the year. Chairing the National Committee to Combat Non-Contagious Diseases, the minister praised the initiatives and efforts exerted in combating non-communicable diseases across the community throughout 2018.
The minister stressed the committee’s keenness to implement various initiatives and reiterated her full support to all the initiatives during the preparation of the Ministry of Health (MoH)’s comprehensive plan 2019. Various topics including pediatric healthcare and involvement of specialists in setting up health-rel ated initiatives were discussed.
The meeting also reviewed the main functions and initiatives planned for Bahrain Sports Day.
