Bahrain-Egypt for greater ties
Speaker Fouzia bint Abdullah Zainal yesterday reiterated Bahrain’s perpetual solidarity alongside with Egypt in boosting bilateral ties. Speaking while receiving Ambassador of Egypt to Bahrain, Suha Mohammed Ibrahim, the speaker emphasised that the upcoming period will see more parliamentary cooperation with the Egyptian Parliament chaired by Ali Abdel Aal.
Citing the longstanding strong ties between the two countries fostered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Abdelfattah El Sisi, Fouzia bint Abdullah Zainal commended Egypt’s strong supportive stance with Bahrain in all the political, economic and security arenas.
The ambassador praised Bahrain’s democratic progress, expressing her admiration of the polls results achieved by the Bahraini women, wishing the Bahraini parliament further successes.
