Students at New Millennium School celebrated Mathematics Week from September 20 to 24, exploring mathematical concepts through creative and hands-on activities across all grades.
The programme featured measurement exercises, scavenger hunts, fractions, symmetry, patterns, tangrams, mosaics and 3D shapes. Older students explored angles, algebra, Pythagorean triples, mathematical smart cities, circles, AI, Pascal's Triangle, relations and functions.
The activities encouraged students to develop logical reasoning, calculation, critical thinking and collaboration while connecting mathematics with real-life applications. Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Mrs Geetha Pillai and Principal Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma praised the students' participation and the Mathematics teachers for creating an engaging learning experience.
