Trade Ties Set For Wider Horizons

Bahrain and the United Kingdom discussed ways to further strengthen financial, economic and trade cooperation during a meeting in Manama between Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and UK Trade Commissioner for the Middle East and Pakistan Gemma Stevenson.
Shaikh Salman highlighted the longstanding and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the UK, noting continued growth in bilateral relations across various fields, particularly finance, the economy and trade.
He stressed the importance of building on existing partnerships and agreements while expanding cooperation and coordination in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting also reviewed opportunities to enhance economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries and discussed the latest developments in the global economy.
