Manama

A meeting held between Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Deputy King and Crown Prince HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday warned of the extremist ideology and its danger on regional stability and cohesion. They pointed out the need for prudence and unity owing to the circumstances undergone by the region.

“There is no place for extremism in Bahrain,” they stressed, paying tribute to the Bahraini people for their tolerance and co-existence, which stand as a bulwark against the destructive ideology. They also voiced the government’s resolve to thwart any attempt to drive wedges among the Bahraini people or undermine hard-won gains.

In the meeting held at the Gudaibiya Palace, they discussed the overall local, regional and international situation. Both leaders asserted that Bahrain had undergone many challenges and always emerged stronger and victorious. They said there was no fear about Bahrain’s present and future as a nation led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. “It possesses conscious and patriotic people who are always working for its prosperity shall move forward with constant steps and optimism.”

HRH the Deputy King and HRH the Prime Minister praised Bahrain’s pioneering status in various fields. They stressed the government’s keenness to bring about more achievements and attain the development goals so as to meet the aspirations of citizens.
