Ritz-Carlton triumph in Inter Hotel cricket tourney

Manama : Home team Ritz-Carlton Bahrain has defended the title very well by giving a tough competition to Regency Intercontinental in the grand finale of the 7th Inter Hotel Charity Cricket Tournament. 

After winning the toss, Regency piled up a total of only 21 runs which Ritz Carlton team chased successfully and stood champion of the tournament. 

“We are very happy to be a champion of this tournament,” said Tharindu, Captain of the winning team. 

Best Batsman was awarded to Luqman from Ritz Carlton, Best Bowler to Majid from Regency and Best All Rounder Salman from Ritz Carlton. 

The Tournament has been concluded and was witnessed by the huge crowd. The Ritz Carlton, Bahrain has been organizing this event for last seven years successfully to generate the charity for the greater cause. Year by Year this event is getting more popularity and contribution made by the community is highly applauded.

 Chief Guest on the occasion Shaikh Muhammad Bin Salman Al Khalifa appreciated the winning team and the management of The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain to make it a great success story.

Diplomat Radisson Blu (31 for all out in 6 overs) lost to Ritz Carlton A (32 for 2 in 5.1 overs) by 4 wickets. Man of the Match: Tharindu

Eliminator 1:

Regency Intercontinental (43 for 3 in 6 overs) defeated Lagoona Beach (36 for 5 in 6 overs) by 7 runs. Man of the Match: Naeem

Qualifier 2:

Diplomat Radisson Blu (41 for 4 in 6 overs) lost to Regency Intercontinental (47 for 2 in 4.5 overs) by 4 wickets. Man of the Match: Adnan

Grand Finale:

Regency Intercontinental (21 for all out in 5.1 overs) lost to Ritz-Carlton A (22 for none in 4.4 overs) by 6 wickets. Man of the Match: Salman.
