Students to be sensitized on negative behaviours

Manama : The Capital Governorate, in co-operation with the Directorate of Community Police will sensitize students of 25 schools on negative behaviours to develop positive behaviour in school students, according to Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate and Chairman of the Committee on Violence and Addiction. 

“The committee will continue to intensify its efforts to prevent the spread of negative behavious among students and young people in schools. The training of students in life skills requires participatory efforts by all concerned bodies according to the highest mechanisms and means in the society through the adoption of a variety of programs and various events, which is one of the most important social security objectives,” he said. 

He made the statement during a visit to the Directorate of Police in the capital governorate in the presence of the Director General of the Directorate Brigadier Khalid Mohammed Al-Thawadi, the head of Hoora police station Colonel Issa Hassan Al-Qattan, Ali Ahmed Amini Program Manager, Lieutenant Jassim Al-Dosari and Lieutenant Fahd Al-Alawi, security coordinator in the province and the Head of public relations and media department in the Capital governorate.

The Capital Governor further stressed that the governorate has reviewed all the 40 schools and the committee is determined to extend the bridges of partnership with all the departments as an ambitious step aimed at assigning each policeman access to cover two schools in the semester in accordance with the preparations and plans of the programme to be implemented during the second course for the year 2017-2018 to ensure the positive impact of the programme and further increase the scope of  student beneficiaries at all stages of age, within the objectives that were created for them.
