Alba Social Centre: Work begins in Budaiya
Manama : Work has commenced on the BD1,440,000 Alba Social Centre in Budaiya at the Northern Governorate, which belongs to the Ministry of Social Development, said Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs Urban Planning, Essam Khalaf.
The centre, the Minister said, will provide social services and child, family and elderly social care related services, in addition to various awareness programmes and training courses.
According to project contractor, Bahrain Motors, the project will take 18 months to complete. The Minister stressed that the design of the building takes into account the requirements of differently abled people as well as green buildings measures.
