Superhot days for Bahrain

The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications’ Meteorological Directorate forecast a hot weather with some clouds at times today. As per the five-day weather forecast, the maximum temperature will be 44 C today and minimum will be 33 C, while maximum relative humidity will be 70 per cent and minimum 30 per cent.
Northwesterly winds range from 10 to 15 knots, reaching 15 to 20 KT at times during the day. Sea waves will rise from 1 foot to 2 feet inshore and from 3 to 5 feet offshore. Temperature is soaring in other GCC states also, with Kuwait recording 45 C, Doha and Abu Dhabi 42 C yesterday.
According to the Meteorological Directorate, last Month was warmer than normal with below average relative humidities and wind speed. The mean temperature for the month was 34.4°C. This is 2.0°C above the long-term normal. This goes on record as the seventh highest mean monthly temperature for the month of June since 1902 which was exceeded by June 2009 with 35.2°C. The month of June 2015 was the fourth sunniest month for all June’s since the sunshine records began in 1968.
As part of Bahrain's efforts to boost vocational safety and workers' health, an official ban on noontime outdoor work between 12.00pm and 4.00pm in the months of July and August is in place now. Labour Ministry's Undersecretary Sabah Salem Al Dosary had earlier said that compliance with the resolution banning outdoor construction work in the afternoon has reached 98.5%. He said 3,440 inspection visits were conducted to construction sites to ensure the companies respected the ban on afternoon outdoor work and 50 violations were found. 133 workers were involved in these violations.
