Madene named BSA Technical Advisor

Manama : Bahrain Swimming Association (BSA) named Lounes Madene as their technical advisor as part of their new strategy to develop water sports in the kingdom.

Madene, the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s projects and technical director, has vast experience in setting up short and long distance strategic plans and will be responsible for providing his consultancy services to the association to run their upcoming programmes.

BSA general secretary and technical supervisor Faisal Swar noted the cooperation from the BOC, headed by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to facilitate Madene’s services at the association.

Swar also noted the support of BOC general secretary Abdulrahman Askar for his contributions in this regard, and the BSA achieve their aspirations.

Under BSA president Shaikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, a series of pioneering training programmes have been announced, with registration for four major programmes underway, with the deadline being next Monday and open to all.
