Bahrain Tourism Authority Joins Seatrade Cruise Med 2026

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) participated in Seatrade Cruise Med 2026, recently held in Spain, as part of the “Cruise Arabia” pavilion alongside tourism authorities from Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the UAE, Oman and Qatar.

The participation reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination among Gulf destinations in the cruise tourism sector, while promoting the region at major international industry events and positioning it as an integrated cruise destination as the cruise season returns to the region.

BTEA International Marketing Director Anas Al Amer represented the authority at the exhibition, taking part in several joint meetings with international cruise companies and cruise lines.

The meetings focused on strengthening relationships with industry partners, understanding their requirements and priorities, and exploring future opportunities to support efforts to attract cruise ships and enhance the region’s presence on the international cruise tourism map.

The participation also provided an opportunity to showcase Bahrain’s tourism offerings and the diverse experiences available to cruise visitors, while strengthening the Kingdom’s presence on regional cruise itineraries.

Seatrade Cruise Med is one of the leading international events dedicated to the cruise industry. It brings together cruise companies and lines, tourism destinations and industry professionals, providing a platform to exchange expertise and explore future cooperation and partnership opportunities.
