Al Noaimi calls for stronger media coordination, credible content and technological adaptation while preserving Arab identity and culture.
Minister of Information Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi stressed the importance of Arab media institutions adapting to rapid technological developments while shaping their impact and preserving Arab identity and culture.
Speaking during “The Ministers Roundtable” at the Arab Media Summit 2026 in Dubai, Dr. Al Noaimi said Bahrain continues to develop its media sector by keeping pace with modern transformations while safeguarding national identity.
He said these efforts align with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister underscored the importance of providing audiences with accurate information, facts and context, while strengthening coordination among Arab media institutions to enhance the regional and international presence of Arab issues and positions.
He also highlighted the importance of investing in media professionals, developing modern content and promoting credible Arab perspectives to strengthen Arab media and address misinformation and polarisation.
On the sidelines of the summit, Dr. Al Noaimi met Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Office.
The meeting addressed cooperation and coordination between media institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
