Tamkeen signs MoU with Huawei

Manama : ‘Tamkeen’ yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei Company, the world’s leading telecommunication service provider, to support on-the-job training programmes.

The MoU aims at increasing the number of participants to the Huawei’s international programme, which strives to build national competence and expertise in China. 

Commenting on this occasion, Dr Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, CEO of Tamkeen, said: “Tamkeen’s endeavour towards establishing partnerships with major international companies comes as part of our keenness to provide the Bahraini citizens with specialised training of international standards in order to improve their skills and experiences, so that they become the first choice for employers.”

He further added: “This MoU was signed in the context of our efforts to focus on developing individuals in the field of IT and telecommunications which is among the main economic sectors in the Kingdom of Bahrain.”

Tamkeen aims at developing human resources and building expertise as well as talents to enhance their future employment chances by taking advantage of flagship international experiences in various fields.
