BCL Golden League: Hala CC Crush BMMI

Manama : Hala CC crushed BMMI by 111 runs in the latest matches of the BCL 25 Overs Golden League at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, Hala scored 222 for seven in its 25 overs thanks to fine knocks by Haris (55) and Sharafuddeen (52) with Akheel (two for 28) the best of the bowlers. In reply, BMMI were restricted to 111 for nine with Waseem (31) top scoring and Siya (four for 26) and Nishad (three for 25) being the pick of the bowlers.

SNCS Royal Rider 3Q were six-wicket winners against Royal Blaster who finished on 142 for nine with Diju (33) top scoring and Aneesh (three for 20) and Vipin (three for 20) sharing the majority of the wickets to fall.

SNCS then reached the target in scoring 148 for five in 20.1 overs thanks to a fine knock by Thanzeer (53) and good support from Riyad (22), with Vinod (two for 21) the best of the bowlers.
