Speaker invites UN Human Rights Commissioner to visit Bahrain
Manama : Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mullah extended an invitation to United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid bin Ra’ad Al-Hussein to visit Bahrain and get a first-hand idea of the Kingdom’s pioneering human rights strides under the reform project initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
While inviting, the Speaker emphasised on the keenness of the elected Parliament, representative of people’s will and willingness to reach out to all international and legislative institutions.
The Speaker added that he looked forward to the acceptance of the invitation.
