‘Tighten control on service sectors’

ManamaPrime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday directed Ministries and service government departments to tighten their control on service sectors under their supervision. 

HRH Premier also directed to increase the number of inspectors to monitor the performance of various service sectors and  intensify inspection campaigns to identify violators.

“The sectors must be constantly monitored and any practices that may harm the citizens or reflect negatively on the quality or level of the government services such as health, education, trade, municipalities, and others resisted,” the Premier stated.

The statements were made as HRH Prime Minister chaired the regular weekly Cabinet session at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

The Premier also gave instructions to take effective measures against any proven violations or negligence after proper investigations, while directing the Ministries to submit periodic reports evaluating their performance.

According to Secretary General of the Cabinet Dr. Yasser bin Essa Al Naser, HRH Premier requested the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning and the Ministry of Health to meet the needs of the Karzakan villagers regarding services, infrastructure and health.
