19000 pass driving test in the last three months
Manama : The increase in number of driving instructors and the e-distributon system has led to the fast processing of learning requirements in the Kingdom, according to the Director of Driving Learning at the General Directorate of Traffic.
Out of 35000 who had their driving tests, 19000 passed in the last three months, he stated.
“The e-system of distributing candidates among instructors reduced the waiting periods for them to get instructors,” the director stated.
The director highlighted that the comprehensive employee system and the availability of services in one building also contributed in the fast processing of paperwork.
“Besides various e-systems, the working hours continue until 7:00pm. The department also offers its services on Saturday morning,” he said.
He also called upon the public to interact with the department for any inquiry or suggestion, while affirming the confidentiality of complaints.
