ARTIE’S FESTIVAL

This is an intimate music concert featuring celebrated international musicians from the Artie’s Chamber Orchestra.

Established by cellist Herrmann Gauthier in 2008, the bi-annual festival, in collaboration with the National Centre for the Performing Arts in India, maintains a philosophy of performing special large-scale orchestra arrangements by a small chamber orchestra in a relaxed and friendly way that promotes intercultural dialogue.

To date, the Artie’s Chamber Orchestra has played more than 100 musical works worldwide. A special selection of some of the greatest masterpieces by artists such as Wagner, Mendelssohn, and Mozart will be played in Bahrain under the patronage of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, and sponsored by BNP Paribas
