Endurance team ready for challenge

ManamaBahrain Royal Endurance Team are ready for the challenge in tomorrow’s Longines FEI 2016 World Endurance championships in Samorin, Slovakia. 

The team is led by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee.

Shaikh Nasser said the team are ready to take on the challenge after intensive preparation and to build on previous experience gained in high prestige events and get positive results and reach a position on the podium.

Tomorrow’s 160km race is in five stages covering distances of 40, 35, 35, 30 and 20kms and gets underway at 6am local time (7am Bahrain) and features nearly 140 of the world’s finest riders from 46 countries, along with Shaikh Nasser, other team members are Abdulrahman Al-Zayed, Ali Bousfer, Raed Mahmoud and Mohammed Abdul Samad with Jaffer Mirz  and Abdulrahman Al Saad the reserve riders.
